Getting psyched for my Barnegat w/s with Denise Ippolito next month; http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...raphy-Workshop .....the birds should be arriving shortly now that the cold weather has made its appearance! I happen to like the longtails as much as the Harlequins.....perhaps will post one of them shortly!

Lovely image, Roman. Like the wings-up position and good HA. Harlequins have been reported at Barnegat Light this week, although apparently not in large numbers. Don't know about the long-tails.

The pink really stands out from all the white black and greys -- makes for a very interesting picture

Beautiful flight pose and sharp details. I can't wait to see these guys again, I get back from Bosque on the 29th so I'll be heading out to the jetty when I get back.:)

Nice! Wing position and exposure look great - good control on the blacks. Just a touch soft on the face as posted IMO and I find it a bit tight overall (yes I know that is your preference!:D). Some halos apparent (e.g. around belly, and along far wing).

I too would like to see this sharper Roman also a bit more room all around would be nice as it is to tight and confined. Nice pose captured.

Very nice image - I agree that the head/bill is just a little soft.

Good flight angle Roman, and always good to see different species. Overall, well exposed too.

Very nice wing position Roman. I agree about the head being a tad soft, but this must be a difficult shot mate. And you handled it well. Looking forward to more Barnegat images! :)
