    Taken about 3 weeks ago in Cape May, on an amazing fallout day with birds everywhere.

    Love the composition Bill. Was it a heavy crop? Nice catchlight. Was the focus point on the botton the perch?

    Good bird, comp, and BG...but I have the impression there may have been a bit of motion blur here?

    Troy, this was a pretty large crop; cropped from horizontal, and took maybe 25% off vertically. Focus point was on the bird's breast a little below the eye, if Nikon's ViewNX is to be trusted.

    Bill, I like the rich color tones in this image. I agree w/ Daniel regarding the slight motion blur but this is very nice as presented.

    Only a smidgen sharper would be fabulous, but still not too shabby. Like the color palette lots. :)
