    Default Ruffed Grouse

A Ruffed Grouse I photographed this morning. This guy was quite cooperative, he just sat still as I photographed him. I would have preferred a better composition, but I am happy with it.

I like the feather detail, eye, BG and slightly open beak. A real beauty Joshua!

Nothing wrong with the comp Joshua. A bit more head turn towards you would have been better, but still a good profile image. Great looking eye, cool risen crest, and nice separation from the BG.

Hi Joshua, Wonderful detail and I like how the BG compliments the subject.
