    Default Napping

This polar bear cub just ate a seal on the beach, then swam onto an iceberg to have a nice little nap.

Well there's an image we don't get to see every day! Nicely done, Charles! I really like the texture of the fur against the cold, slick look of the ice.

You do have the bear a little centered in the frame - I'd take some off the right side and see if you can't get him more in the ROT's position. Looks good on the top and bottom edges.

Where was this taken? Very cool image!

Thank you Julie. The image a crop, so I do have enough room to play with to get it offset a bit. Personally, I like him in the center because he's so perfectly "looking" at me :p I'll try cropping to give some more room on the left, just for you

This image was taken in the high Canadian Arctic village of Resolute Bay, in the territory of Nunavut.

gorgeous! love his fur - especially his kind of creamy white color against that incredible blue ice.

    Hey Charles,
I don't mind the centered placement here.....but for me some off the top to more of a pano (a touch above the ice chunks) will only emphasize the bear even more! Very nicely done overall though!
