    I can't remember that last time I saw Ducks out on the reef, so seeing a male and female Chestnut Teal was quite a surprise.

    This is the female.

    Canon 7D 300f4+1.4tc, ISO400, f8, 1/800, +0.3, Av mode.

    Love that red eye and if it were mine, I might crop from the top to lose that brown ?shorline to make a pano view.

    I don't mind the crop nor what appears to be strong light, since we have a dark bird. Mate, these guys are everywhere out my way. :p

    Nice work, maybe a little NR will help the fuzzy out of focus areas in the BG. Well done. :)
