The far wing is nicely illuminated by the light, but the shadow on the rest of the gull is bummer. I would also like tho see it higher in the frame.

BTW, you have a winter-plumaged Ring-billed Gull here:).

I think Daniel nailed it. I would also love to see the wing not obscuring the head (partially). Good effort and you will get a ripper soon! :)
