Taken today. Pine tree needle in-camera-blur, with background of Japanese Maple. Full Frame. Only two changes; lightened URC, sight blend to lower left corner to soften. Nikon D3s ISO 200 105 mm amcro 1/200 @ f/3.8 Comments welcome.........................

Beautiful composition, Jay. I like the brush stroke like effect created from the blur. Colors are very nice. I would have lightened it slightly, if it were mine. Nicely done. TFS.

Jay, Beautiful painterly look to this. The colors are really nice. I might evict the bright spot if it were mine. Very creative thing to put the JP in the BG for color.

Yes, interesting abstract look and combination of colors. I agree with evicting the bright spot. It seems out of place to me.

Beautiful colors and composition! I've taken the liberty of lightening it up using levels and brightness, and cloning out the white. Just to give you an idea. It was a quick job.

    Anita,

thanks.it looks great. I have a number of these shots, so I have plenty of tweaking to do............I first thought the white thing was cool, then I had a change of heart after the OP.

You are welcome. I think the white thing would have been great it it had more definition.
