I took this picture in August at Chanticleer Garden, West of Philadelphia. Don't know the ID.

    Taken outdoors, Nikon D300, Sigma 105mm macro, tripod, f4, 1/200, ISO 400.
PP: in PS7. Crop; added two of my textures.

More lovely, soft colors! I love the pastels you've created here and the comp looks great. I'm not too sure about the texture, though. I think it either needs to be stronger or removed completely. My first thought when I opened it was that it looked great but seemed a bit noisy. :o

Beautiful colors and great comp on this..................agree with Ken. The added texture is more than I would like to see and seems in contrast with the beautiful soft pastel look of the flower.

Beautiful composition, Anita. I like the OOF effect on the bent flowering stem. The soft colors makes it pleasant to look at. If possible would love to see another version without the texture to compare. TFS.

Anita, I love the soft dreamy colors and the composition is lovely. The texture doesn't bother me but you could probably smooth it down a little.

Thank you, friends. I appreciate your comments. I will look at decreasing the texture. :-)

It's beautiful, Anita. I like the soft colors. The texture doesn't bother me but would like to see another version without it or smoothed out.

Beautiful image, Anita. I love the soft, pastel colors and great choice of composition. I don't really mind the texture, but it would be nice to see how it looks with it smoothed out a little.
