    Default Cheetah trio dawn awakening.

Snap, Crackle and Pop here again doing some very early morning surveying work.
Tweaked the sky in Nik Color Efix pro3 using a grad filter and darkened the FG just enough to still give some detail.
Would have wished that the BG line wasn't intersecting the two heads and that all 3 were looking in the same direction, for as long as I waited that just wasn't going to happen.:(

    Marc,

This is one of those images I cannot make my mind up about, I see what you were trying to capture but I am not sure it has worked for me.

Marc, agree with your self critique but I like the moodiness of the image.

Hi Marc, I just wonder if you were to make the FG much darker (think black may be too much) so it's almost is silhouetted (backlite, hint of detail?), but keep the cool BG colours. Would straighten the lhs horizon and watch for halo artifacts around the cheetahs faces.

I like the feel of the image.

I too, love the mood and wish they had rewarded you for your patience by coordinated head turns;)

Marc, we all wish that wild animals would create the perfect poses for us each time we have a sighting. I would select the cheetahs, and try and lighten them a tad. I do like the colours in the BG.

nice mood here Marc. I do agree with Steve as I was about to suggest darkening the details some more for a more "silhouetted" feel while retaining the moody early morning sky colours. I also feel cropping some of the OOF FG off would improve this?

I like the cool tone to the BG and graduation of the sky tones in setting the mode.
