Here's my take on this. I like the mood. Wish I was there with a nice cup of tea. I blurred the background and foreground, changed the colors some and cropped to put the tree line at the 2/3 mark. Hope you like the change.

    Hej
Its a beautiful part of Stockholm -loved hiking there. Great mood and composition. Well here is my take on it. I cropped out the trees and applied a S-curve. Oh and worked the lab colour a little. If you worked the DOF a little you might of had a blurred background to start. I like the camera to do the work not photoshop.
    Hope you like it.

While the reposts are interesting and both have something going for them, I like your original post just as it is the best.

I love these kinds of photos. I also prefer the original.

To me the most impressive elements in this image are the foreground plants and the misty background.
Only did the minimum of editing by darkening highlights.

I am happy with the original too.

I like Gary's recrop but not the colors.

If making this myself, I would have tried to get elevation on the FG tree so that it was not cut by the BG line (grass to forest). A ladder perhaps - like everyone has one with them. :)
