    Default Canada Geese at sunset

I just got home from a week in New Mexico, mostly at Bosque del Apache. It is getting cold down there and more birds are coming in as the northern cold drives them down. This was taken nearby at sunset, as an in-camera blur. Then I dashed back into the car to warm up :)!

    c & c very welcome.

Lovely image, Nancy! The colors and subject really say "fall" to me. Perfect amount of blur and excellent composition. I wonder if taking a slice off the left and adding a tiny bit to the right might make it even better. Well done. :)

Nice image. I love the way it looks like the geese are flying over the top of a cloud.

Beautiful! The body of the birds gives stability to the blur of the wings. great catch.

Really nice! The colors of the birds and the BG blend together beautifully. Just the right amount of blur.

Thank you everyone! I practiced flying bird blurs all week down at Bosque. It's always a surprise exactly what you capture!

Nancy, I love this - the colors and lighting really give this a beautiful glow and the blur looks perfect. I hope you'll post more from the Bosque:o
