I thought I would share another White fronted bee eater with you, and his catch. Taken on a private farm last month. Cleaned some white stuff on the lower part of the perch, which is a protruding root of a tree.

    Stuart:
I really like the comp here with the leading line of the root leading us into the frame to the bird and his colorful catch. Colors are rich/complimentary .

    Excellent.

Stuart you certainly have some great images of this species and all with prey. Never seen one with a Dragonfly before. Like this one for the complimentary colours and eye contact as well.

I really like the light here and the pose with the goods. How often would one run into a bee eater in your parts? excellent details

Great image these birds are insanely beautiful. Nice to have such an uncluttered BG, plus of course a very fine Dragonfly.
