    Captured this shy and elusive small antelope in the northern part of the Kruger Park in December 2009. Lovely animals but elusive and only found in this area of South Africa.

    Techs:
    Nikon D300s with 200-400mm VR @ 400mm

    Now here's something you do not see everday, I have never seen one but I have seen the very similar Grysbok.

    Given the extremely shy nature of this animal you have done very well.

    Once upon a time I set out to try and get images of all of the Antelopes of Southern Africa, after 10 years I have less than half, all of these Duiker like species are pretty elusive, except to Leopards.

    Morkel - a cute animal that I haven't seen. I find the foliage on the lhs distracting but you can tell it was shot during the rainy season by the lush color of the bush.

    Great spotting and capture, of a species I haven't seen either.
    Love the colour here, shame about the slightly distracting foliage.

    Good behavioural capture, and I like that we can see a hint of the teeth. Good colours of the surrounding bush

    thanks everyone...I don't mind the foliage that much as it shows you how shy these bucks are in the thick riverine foliage where they are found, yet it doesn't obscure the main features of the buck like the face :)
