Hi Jay, nice use of the glamor glow on this blossom. I love the look.

Jay, I like the glow and the colors. The black BG is a nice touch. I wish the back top petal were a little less frayed. The lotus blossoms are my favorites-yet I still don't have a great image of one yet.:)

PS. Those front petals are wonderful!

Hi, Jay, I really like the glow effect and the dark bg. I like the composition with the leaves framing the bottom of the image. Nice work:)

Nice work Jay, I love the colors against that background. The difference in sharpness from the front to the back gives it a 3D look. I would paint out that little "barb" sticking up from the far left petal.

Wonderful. You achieved a great 3 dimensional look. It looks not quite real--in a good sense. Prefer the repost. I might lighten the shadows on the petal left of center. I find the leaves at the bottom a little distracting. I like the angle of view you chose, with the petals reaching upwards. Lovely glow and colors.

thanks Denise. Lotus blossoms are also my faves, they just come and go too quick! :o They are natural for glowing..........had never thought about it until I saw similar work on OOTB. Great forum with strong
community, talent, and participation. Well done!!!;)

    Nice image and application, Jay.

Like the flower, but not sure about the leaves on the bottom. Their lack of symmetry, in size and/or shape, is what I think makes them slightly distracting to me. But I like the image otherwise. I know you didn't make the leaves, so we can live with it. But just a comment on the relationship with the flower.

    Hey Jay,
Repost works for me too and the glow is fantastic! I may play around with darkening or opening up some of the lower leaves as suggested.....but excellent work nevertheless!!!
