    Young guy got lot of character Jamie. Like the dark tones and colorful background. Personally would have gone for a bulls eye composition. I like your suject placement too.

    Jamie,

    With him looking directly at you, you can place him in the center of the image. If leaving more room one side or the other, I would have opted for the right side here as that is the side the butt is turned to.

    Great alert look and as SId mentioned, nice BG colors.

    Jamie, I agree with Robert's suggestion in regards the placement the picture needs a little bit more room on the right. Otherwise it is a very excellent picture.

    Love this photo. The contrast and color is excellence. Im gonna disagree with some others and say I like the composition as well. Very artistic rendering.

    I too like the composition as is. Love the BG.

    There does seems to be a blue cast. It doesn't ruin the shot but if it were mine, I would try to remove. If I couldn't, I would be still be happy.

    Good to see a nice photo of a buck that isn't a monster.
