Default Warm Autumn Night by the Mississippi

Took a stroll last night after sunset in Cliff Cave Park bordering the river and grabbed this image. The skylight was deep blue with reflected light from a few pinkish clouds and, the mighty Mississippi. There was also a hint of backlighting from the fading sunset. If I could have frozen that moment in time for a thousand more images..............:)

PP included a quarter inch canvass extension on the right, small leaf clone in the LLC and center. Blended out the silhouette of a tree in BG, which I'm still questioning. Otherwise did a NIK Glamor Glow (Orton Effect) to soften the image and some brush work on the leaf edges to balance the glow. Lastly noise reduction on the BG.

The blue color cast was by courtesy of the Mississippi.............The exposure was maintained as I remember it.

Thanks for the look.....welcome feedback, as always.....

Whoops, I forgot to enter the "Theme" prefix on the title.........can't find a way to do that in Editing, can someone help me on that?

Jay, I think you took something ordinary and made it special! Beautiful colors and softness. The comp. is well balanced.

Jay, I love the colors and the lighting! Really beautifully done. They seem to be floating in their own world:)

Very beautiful image, Jay. I love how the colors and lighting took ordinary leaves and turned them into something special. :) I might lighten up the image just a tad, but that's just my personal opinion. Very well done!

Jay, this is very nice and I like the soft edges and muted colors. It feels just a bit tight on the left edge of the frame to me. If you have canvas there it might be cool to open that area a bit. Very nice scene.

Lovely blue!!! I like how the leaves seem to float. Lovely light and subdued but strong colors. I might darken the very tip of the LRC to more closely match the other corners. Unusual and striking image.
