Firstly the head angle is not quite right and I have some strange blue on the rear wing, which refuses to dissapear.

Nice take off pose and a beautiful bird that is always a pleasure to see. Agree with the HA and would be nice if the head didn't match the rear wing. TFS.

Other than your self crit this is a nice take off pose. I am OK with the head since the white contrasts beautifully against that dark wing. Good job mate. :) TFS.

I managed to selectively remove the blue cast on the rear wing with Nik Color Efix Pro3/white neutralizer-color cast removal. Having had a lot of practice with this very issue of late.:D

    Marc,

Never thought of that but then I have only just installed my new full set of Nik, I'll try it now.

Well captured take off with lovely detail. I might crop a little on left and the right. Well done Ken

I love the pose here. Sure some seperation between the head and far wing with the head looking straight ahead would've been nice, but the pose and the capturing of the wing at full stretch are great components of this image.
