Love the sharpness, the feather details, the detail in white and black and nice soft background color. I might take a little off the left and run NR on just the background. Wish the perch was a bit smaller but this is already good as it is.
What a lovely bird! Great detail in the feathers and beautiful background, though I might tone it down just a bit since it seems to me to compete with the bird. I agree with Thanaboon's suggestions on cropping and NR.
Gabi, it's a beautiful bird you have here. Overall, this is a very nice image but I do think a few things could have been done to improve upon it. You lose detail and focus at the left end of the perch as well as the back end of the bird. A slightly different camera angle and/or a stopped down aperture might have helped in this case. The head and body are nicely sharp, as is most of the perch. The BG is smooth and a beautiful color - although, like Maureen, I think lightening it up a bit so it isn't quite as close as the colors of the bird would help separate it from the BG a bit more.
Nice catch light in the eye. You might try a curves adjustment and see if you can bring out a bit more pop to the high and midtones there.
