Default Snow Geese at the end of a beautiful day....

...and tomorrow the start of new one. Why? Because I'm heading back for round 2 with these awesome subjects:cool: This image was taken at dusk. The activity was very hectic, with even more geese coming in after sunset. It is pretty hard to do this place justice on "film", especially in reduced web sizing...but I like the "end of day" feel to this one. Hope you do too!

I love the soft colours of this one. It must've been an awesome, not to mention noisy, experience to have so many birds in the one spot.

Like the lavender lake and matching sky at the top with the blue horizon. Awesome sight! Enjoy and share some more of the gorgeous shots you have been getting. TFS

    Daniel:

Lovely colors, I can almost hear them.

Now, if you could just get rid of the merge between the 32nd and 33rd bird from the middle of the left side, it would be perfect:p

    Have a great time tomorrow!

    Randy

This is superb, and captures the moment and the light brilliantly.

Hey Dan, Randy got it wrong. The 2477th goose isnt as sharp as the others.;) The colours puts this over the top, and I rate the best of your goose scapes. An opportunity well used.

Daniel what an image to cap this series which I have enjoyed immensely. It captures the atmosphere for me and love the dusk colours. Thanks for sharing.

Great scene in terrific light Daniel. There are harder to compose than they seem. And also hard to crop. You've done very well.
