    Many of these big birds were diving, most successfully, for food this chilly and windy morning, putting on quite a show. The image is slightly cropped and tweaked in LR3. I attempted to clone out the black splotches (another pelican's shadow) in the upper left corner with unsatisfactory results, so I left it alone.

    If this image was taken at a much lower angle, would have become a total winner..

    The angle is what is hurting this. Exposure wise the bright areas of the head are a bit hot to my eyes (without even checking in Photoshop). :)
