One of your best Mark, Maybe a hint more detail revealed in the middle just above the center of the flower. Lovely color palette.

Mark, well done! I really like the different brush strokes of coral in the bg and the way the hibiscus seems to float in space - it has a three dimensional look to it.:)

Hi Mark, As everyone else said, very well done! :) The shades of pink and salmon are lovely, and I like the BG texture. I agree with Denise on a little more detail just above the center.

Mark, this is excellent. I like it a lot! The texture in the bg is perfect for the subject and the color is very peasant. Well done.

Very nice work! Love the color. The flower seems to come forward out of the background giving it a 3 dimensional look. Nice placement in the frame. The canvas texture with the flower painted out, and the accented edges work beautifully here. One of my favorites by you. I wouldn't change a thing.

Question: How did you achieve the different shades in the bg?

I did a separate layer for the BG and use the colors from the flower to paint the areas. I dabbed a few areas to get the different shades and also used the "Edit/Fade" slider to adjust them.

    Hope that helps.
