Nicely seen, Maureen! Overall I really like the image. If you had been a few steps to your left we might have been left with a little more eye contact here but I still think the image has real presence.
A few very minor tweaks for you...
1) There are two dark areas right along the bottom of the frame near the bird's feet. I'd clone or crop those out.
2) There's a very small OOF "dot" on the right side of the bird's body in the green area - I'd clone that out as well.
3) Might go back and look at bringing up the hightones just a bit more - make his head feathers have a little more pop to them since this is almost an entire image of midtones.
