Apart from the normal PP, (Levels/curves in CS5), the colors are exactly what I saw that night.

Beautiful Marc! Love the different hues of color along with a strong and well placed tree silhouette. Just enough base without too much neg space. The dark band of clouds on top frame that area.
This image would also be very strong cropping out the top clouds and making the image a pano.
You took good advantage of a wonderful lighting situation...

I totally agree with Dave on this Marc. Also, Dave's pano suggestion gives you an alternate version on this image.

A knock out and I agree that this would make a powerful pano. Nice job exposing this one.

I agree with the crop to a pano. It draws the the eye to the bird circling and makes the tree stand out more. Super good colors make this one a real keeper. Thanks for sharing it.

I keep coming back to look at this beautiful image so it's about time I add my congratulations on such a superb capture. I could look at this image all day long. Fire up the cash register because this has great sales potential.

Marc, what amazing colours and you've managed the whole landscape very nicely. Wonderful tree position. Well done.

    Hey Marc,

I really love the colors in the sky and think that there are several compositions that could be explored here...

Appreciate the comments everyone, many thanks.
Here's the pano version, although my preference is still for the OP-double cloud version.
