    Hi all

Just returned from a almost 4 month trip to Namibia, Kenya, & quick trip to London for WPOTY ceromony, this was 2 of the 10 young cheetah cubs in the Masai Mara this year (3 different mums of course) finding these little cuties in the morning before the sun rises & no cars is always a challenge but worth the wait, as Animal behavior at first light & no 4wd's buzzing around is quite special, we managed to do this on 4 or five ocaisions ::) this image was taken about 30 mins after sunrise.

Welcome home and it was a real pleasure catching up with you & family in the Mara & Rekero!:D
I know that back/sidelit images are one of your specialties and you've created a fine one here Ken.
Love the playful mood depicted here.

Love the rim lighting around the little fuzzballs. Great lighting as well!

Ken, this is a beautiful image. Would prefer it if the highlight in the top lhs wasn't there, but absolutely lovely.

Ken -very well done. I agree with Hilary about the bright circle and also would prefer if the bright blade above the kit the left wasn't there. I find both slightly distracting.

welcome back Ken! what I wouldn't do for a trip like that...alas I have to put bread on the table by other means :)

congratulations on your BBC achievement - we featured in the same category, and I was very sad not to be able to make the ceremony in London.

lovely image this with great behaviour, mood and light...what was your ISO setting?
