Well, I had a good run. I made it almost three whole years before caving in and showing my face on BPN. I've always said it's not about what I look like but what my photographs reflect - but since I'm a moderator for the forum I am caving into the peer pressure and am giving it a go.

Now...keep in mind I did this on my back deck with the camera on self timer and this was all I could come up with after an hour of hit and miss! Either the lens was out of focus or I sat too high or too far right or...you get the drift. I've always said I picked up a camera to keep from having to be on this side of the lens. I'm far more comfortable telling other people how to smile.

Anyway...here I am, wondering how long that gray hair has been peeking out of my left temple! Oh the joys of being 50!

    Jules
It's good to finally put a face to your name. Caving in isn't always a bad thing.

    Hey Jules,
Nice to meet you finally!!! It could be worse....friend posting images of you looking scruffy and such.....I do believe I can get even.....so they better post their own images! Wasn't this your idea? Be careful what you ask for!!!;)

This was NOT my idea...it was Kaustubh's! I just thought it was a great one.

Big deal, a couple of gray hairs.
At least you you don't have a chest full of white/gray hair (I sure hope not anyway:p).
The blond hair (what's left of it) on my head minimizes the gray. No hiding it on my very hairy manly chest.

IT's nice to met you Julie. I think it's a lovely self-portrait and it reflects what appears to be your gentle nature. I understand exactly how you feel about prefering to be behind the camera. I find myself in front of the camera less and less now for similar reasons.
