This fella caught himself a largemouth bass for lunch. Shot in the shade with fill flash.

    Gary:

Nice job! I know all too well how tough the lighting conditions were there this AM.
Nice colors in the water and the fish is a killer for this species!

If you have a sliver more room on the right, I would add it back in, or consider expanding the canvas a bit!

    Congrats!

That is wonderful, I love it. The fish is great AND you have fully raised crest, good HA
and great exp. Nice water colors, and the fish is facing the camera too. Great!
I would probably try to have more space in the right or less on the left.
    Congrats!

Great bird, great action, nice water color. As already noted, it would be nice to have the bird out of the center of the frame. Ideally, I would like to see more space on the right and bottom, showing the reflection without cutting off the head.

    Lighting conditions where???

I would have loved to have seen this without the TC as it needs more room all around especially in front (and below). Way cool on the bass and the EXP.

I like the composition here with the low angle and fish in the bill.

Thanks for all the comments, totally agree it needs more room. Once he surfaced with the fish, no time to remove the TC.

Great image Gary! I like the fish, detail and that BG water texture is amazing.
