    I know it's a no-no to have the head intersect the wing but for some reason I find these types of images appealing...personal taste. I do find it a bit dark on my monitor but I like the extended wings and dangling talons as it took off.

    Agree with all of the above, the eye on these birds is so nice and vibrant that I think this still has enough of an engaging quality:)
