Default Fine Art and the Laundromat

I shot this back in 2007 in an old laundromat that I came across one night while exploring the area near Midland, PA. Interestingly enough the first laundromat is believed to have been opened in Philadelphia, PA in 1947. The area that I found this wasn't very "comfortable" but I kept a watchful eye and managed to get some "interesting" stuff.

If I'm not mistaken, the print above the television(s) is a Monet. There were art prints all over the laundromat :)

Michael, of course it's a Monet! It always amazes me how you can go to places like this and art will be the one thing that rises above its surroundings.

Love the TV on TV...so typical! Very nice moody image of a place long past its prime.

FWIW- I shot this in 2007 and I still remember the location vividly. I hope it's still there.

Here's another Monet just for you Julie :)
