    Just love seeing new species and this little guy is no different! Like the pose, and exposure and sharpness are good. I think I may work the crop a little bit. He's looking a bit centered for my taste.

    Very sweet, Marc. I agree with Marina on the comp - I would crop a bit from above to raise the bird in the frame. Darkening down the sky is also an option to try.

    This guy's feet are huge realative to body size!!

    I agree with Marina's observation and subsequent option by Tony. Light a bit on the harsh side, but dealt with best you could.

    Marc,

    I cannot say I have seen one of these before at least not sitting still:)

    It is a very small raptor so you have done well to get such a "large" image,

    The feet look like they belong to somebody else.

    Sasol informs me they attain no more than 8 inches in height Ken.

    Marc, I like how the perch curls into the frame, and just love these guys eyes. Another vote for darkening the BG.
