Default My first DSLR wildlife video using the D3s

I've been itching to have a go at DSLR video for ages now, so after my recent D3s upgrade I wanted to get out and shoot some video as quickly as I could! So, I spent a couple of hours playing with my new toy and experiencing my first ever DSLR video shoot! Room to improve but loving it so far and can't wait to make a video when I'm in Yellowstone in January :D

And here is the setup I used...I did a write up as well, which you can read here on my blog :)

Very nice, did you ever try the fade in fade out transitions? I'm using Windows Movie Maker and I just slide one slide into the other by dragging them to get this effect.

Awesome. I liked everything about this - clever framing, use of the music transitions, color grading, subtle zooms.

Nice. The best sound would be obtained when the microphone is off the camera. I am sure yellowstone would be an awesome experience. All the best!
