    Juvenile Female Snail Kite that wondered into our local Wetlands. She's been here a couple of weeks now.

    Photo taken during mid-afternoon during an approaching cold front...wind was a howling!

    Sun is a little high in the sky (evidenced by the hot area of white on top of the tail feathers), but overall the light is quite even. Sharpness looks good and the wing position is excellent. I might tone down the sky a little to give the image better tonal balance.

    Beautiful image, I like it alot. Great wing position and I like the visible clouds. I also like the ascending pose.

    P.S. Although your exif is embedded in the image, it is a good idea to include them in your post for those who cannot access the info;)

    Nice talons on that bird! Wouldn't want to be on the receiving end :)

    I agree on the points above - would tone down the background a bit to make the bird easier to look at.
