    Default Fire!

Another one of my old Civil War photos. Here I was lucky enough to capture the Confederate cannon in the act of firing. The IQ of this shot was pretty bad, but I liked the action and, heck, an old photo doesn't have to be perfect. :)

I processed this using two of my favorite textures from Shadowhouse Creations, "Beneath the Surface1" and "Trashed." I also applied two of my own textures and a vignette.

Any comments and suggestions would be most appreciated!

Christopher, You are really nailing the look here! This is where you really shine. I think the fact that the image isn't perfect makes it even more believable as an old photo. :)

Chris, I'm inspired by your oldies but goodies and will keep trying. This has it all for a new old photo!

I love the action in this one and it does look more like an old photo because it's not perfect. Well done! Thanks for posting the texture links. I don't think I had "trashed" but I do now!

Christopher, these Civil War photos are just amazing. I am loving the narrative. Your treatment makes it so much more believable. TFS.
