Default My thoughts on the Mark IV

I wrote a lengthy article on my Blog about my personal impressions I now have after shooting with the Mark IV for 11 months. I also added all my C.Fn and some ISO samples. I'd love to hear some thougts from you guys and maybe we can have a little discussion on some of the C.Fns. I mostly went back to the factory defaults lately....

To start with the conclusion, I had some issue with the camera, but I really love it now. To me it is the best bird photography camera available at the moment. What do you think?

If it's better I could post the whole article in here, but it's such a hassle with all the image, so I hope the link is alright.

I've had several sporadic problems with my mk4. The first is occasional severe unerexposure of a series of images made during a burst with no changes made on my endor with any change in BG or comp. Shooting in AV mode.. We're talking 3-4 stops. Other images in that sequence are just fine. It's happened 3-4 times and is not repeatable.

The other was when I was shooting puffins in flight when the birds were against a busy BG to camera at times wouldn't even try to focus. I figured puffins would be a nice target for the AF sensor. Have not returned it to Canon... Anybody else experience this behavior?
