    Full frame DSLR at 20+ megapixels is pretty close to the resolution of 6x7 Fujichrome Velvia scanned on a good consumer scanner.

    I seem to remember reading in her book "At Work" that Annie Leibovitz went from medium format film to a 1Ds2. However, her largest output format would normally be a two-page spread in a magazine.

    Biggest problem is the lack of long fast AF glass for wildlife shooters.
