What an apt name for this beautiful bird, I only wish I could have got some superb images, this is the "best" I got, unfortunately it was on the ground and the ground had recently been burned.

Beautiful colors on this bird, Ken! It seems just a tiny bit soft on my monitor, particularly the head. You might consider darkening the very busy BG, as it distracts from the subject. There are also some foreground twigs that catch the eye - wonder if it would be possible to clone them out?
Hi Ken, when I saw this bird in Tanzania and was told it was a Starling, I was surprised at how beautiful it is and so very different from Starlings here in the USA. I like the inquisitive pose and love the color.
Ken, I havent seen this species before, and I like the inquisitive pose. You cant do much when they land in the african grasslands. I would try and blur the BG a tad more.
Hi Ken , You seem to have found many of the specials on your trip. This Starling is one of my favourites and you have captured the colours vey well, especialy the sheen on the wings and the defenition in the brown. Good suggestions above.
Thanks to everybody for their suggestions, I have done some cloning allready but in all honesty making the BG vaguely presentable is a little beyond me. Next time:D
