    Default Eared Grebe

    I got this little grebe at the Gilbert Riparian in Gilbert Arizona. I have some nice shots with good reflections but the mouth open on this one seems to strike me the most.

    I agree, the mouth really catches your attention. Sharp, liked fluffed up plumage too.
    If you have it, a bit more canvas below would be nice, not so much for the reflection, just breathing room.
    I wish the eye was a bit more open, but many birds do close them when preening.
