Default White-necked Raven and Cape Vulture

White-necked ravens at Giants Castle reserve in South Africa seemed to really enjoy giving the vultures a hard time, even when there was no food at stake, just for fun.

This was taken in the afternoon, and the scene was heavily backlit.

Moment is terrific and nice to see the vulture's face so clearly. A little sharpening will improve the image a lot IMO.

    Hi Ignacio,

Great positioning of the birds, and very good to capture just the right moment of interaction between the two. I agree that the vulture in particular could use some sharpening, and the raven could use more detail in the blacks and less "hot" white on the neck - although that exposure would be very difficult to achieve successfully.

Yes Ignacio those Ravens certainly seem to have a sense of humour. Nice action captured , a little dark in my monitor which I am sure can be fixed.
