    I love the idea of working off one photo and adding our own creative twist. I tried out a variety of techniques I've used on other images, deciding I liked this outcome the best. I selected all except the eye and used the solorize filter, then adjusted the master levels. I then selected the inverse and adjusted the levels on the eye. I made a duplicate layer of the entire image, added a highlight mask, and used multiply on that layer to achieve the final result.

    Dawn, Great looking effect. I especially like the way the feather tips look white. Colors look great and the eye really stands out well.

    Dawn, I like the colors you've used - the solarize filter works really well on this image.
