Nice BG, perch form, sharpness and overall comp Michael. The light is harsh however. I would try to tone down the lights, particularly on the perch. You could select it and us Shadow/Highlight adjustment. Maybe on the bird also? This is one of those shots that you wish had been taken hours earlier in the day or when the lighting was much less contrasty!
