    Default Little Tornado

    D3 200f/2 + TC17EII (340 mm) 1/40 @ f/22 ISO200 + 0.3EV bright sunrise light, pan blur

Caught this little whirlwind at the edge of a pan blur, some color & contrast in LAB mode curves, a little perspective distortion & liquify to straighten the false horizon. I couldn't figure out what this was in the camera preview ;)

    Cheers,

Too funny Michael, The foam /wave looks nice and soft. I love your little tornado-I do wish the head had a bit more detail-but this is still very cute.

This is really a really cool image! I like the blur and the effect on the foam.

Very cute image, Michael! The bird really does resemble a tornado! :) Love the colors and the soft look of the foam.

Michael, a "twirling dervish" bird:) Very clever. I really love the foam too.

Denise, Judy, Christopher, Cheryl, Indranil, Mark,

Thanks much! I appreciate your comments... A little tired from chasing these peeps for detail, so I thought, hey, I should try a few blurs for grins. It was pretty fun :) I'll have to go there more often...

    Cheers,

    -Michael-
