got lucky the other day and was able to capture these two beauties :) First there was only the bird on top of the perch, but suddenly the other bird joined the scene. I didn't have time to remove the extender, but luckily I was still able to take this full frame image and fit both birds in the frame :)

It may be just a little tight at the bottom, but you were ready and captured a great scene with the birds facing in opposite directions yet both looking at you. Congrats Jan! :)

Great double Jan, and I like the opposite poses. Cool looking perch, and just love the BG too. Well captured.

Beautiful species and capture. I love the composition. The perch looks like it was custom made for this image. I like the head angles and eye contact. Very well done. Cheers.

TOTAL sweetness, Jan!! Just love the two sharp birds, and the pose of the one on top is so endearing. Good thing you chose f11!

I really like the perch, background and poses. My only wish would be for a little more space below, as you alluded to yourself.

Beautiful colors, background and composition as well as pretty good DOF. How large are the birds? Impressed that they both appear pretty sharp. JR

Wouldn't it be better to take a little off the top to even up the distance from the edge, for both birds. Leave the bottom as is. My 2 cents!

Great capture Jan , that perch was made for this image. Good exposure and feather detail with great light on the birds and also good head positions. I have never seen these birds before thanks for sharing.
