    Captured in the local mountains of southern California (Mt. Pinos area). Late afternoon light in the shade, fill flash with beamer.

    50D, 400mm f/5.6

    Agree with Bill. Does it need eye work from the flash or is that natural for this bird.

    Good point Gary. I did remove quite a bit of eye flash but not all of it. Might look more natural with just the catch light.
