    Photographed this Pacific Black Duck near my place in Western Sydney at a duck pond. Only cropped from above, otherwise full width. I kind of like the bow wave and the different look to this. Not sure what you think.

    30D, 300/4L IS + 1.4x, ISO400, f/9, 1/800th, HH, 0EC

    Love the low angle and agree this is a different perspective. Detail looks great.

    Hey Bro, I like the flowing lines in this - the curve of the wave line along the bottom of the duck, together with the curve of the top of the duck's body. The wave in front adds a lot too. Well captured mate.

    This looks alot better than what the thumb implies! A pleasant surprise for me, and I actually love it despite none of the bill showing above the water...I do love how the base is partially visible through the water though - very neat!

    Akos, I love the little wave look in front of the ducks face. Beautiful clear eye and a pleasing comp.
