Nice golden tones throughout, and I like the straight-on stare. I'd explore lightening the bird's left eye and socket (our right). The extra room above is good for adding a caption or magazine title, but on its own it looks a bit much. Well done overall!
Nice capture, in Europe the raptors are usually tough to get near, the stare, sharpness and background are nice. Agree bird is a little to low in the frame...TFS
Lovely bird and light. I see that you were trying to minimize the tiny roots, rocks, and twigs in the bottom third of the frame.... If it were mine, I would clean that stuff up.

Mr.Morris, no, I use it as it was, since the buzzard was on the fresh ploughing field where catch earthworms and I like the the place is visible.
