TeleConvertors

I have been doing some research I have been told there is a Tamron TeleConvertor which might still work with my Canon 40D and my sigma 80-400mm lense. I am looking for anybody who has this setup and can tell me if the Canon 40D and the sigma 80-400mm will work with any TeleConvertor and does the older Tamron TeleConvertor Still give me AutoFocus.
I would also like to know what the exact name and model number is and where I might order it

Hi Grant Even if it would AF I don't recomment trying it The AF would be painfully slow !!!!

I haven't try that set up but I'm sure if it works will be very slow and not because the 40D.
