Another river detail shot converted with Silver Efex and later added black to the neutrals and whites in Selective Color. This river detail is from the Kaministiquia River at Kakabeka Falls near Thunder bay, Ontario.
The water looks great at one second. Was there something at the top of the frame that kept you from pointing the lens up a bit??? When the full sized image opened I felt myself raising the lens...

Arthur, it is from a few years ago so I can't remember for certain, but I believe there may have been a rock or two that I wanted to exclude to have only the flowing water in the frame. It was shot with 80-400 at 400mm.
Thanks Andrew. I find myself wishing for another foot or even six inches above. That said a crop from below would be in order.

I love the tiered look too, but the relatively large expanse of relatively uninteresting water makes the image bottom-heavy for me and actually drags the viewer's eye from the great stuff going on above. :)

Thanks again to everyone for the comments. I am thinking if cropping I should not go above the little bit of more detailed flow in the lower right corner. As I look at it time and again after all the comments that spot is bothering me a little...or I may mask it outta there.
