    Default Gold Falling from the Sky

    This is another handheld blur shot from my favorite stand of birch trees in Glacier Park Montana, taken last month. This is a vertical pan blur with basic adjustments in Lightroom. Let me know what you think, and how the image could be improved.

    Canon 1D IV, Canon 24 TS-E II, iso 50, f22, 1/4 sec

    I think you nailed the colors. The image does look like falling leaves. I like the amount of blur and the way it kind-of smears together.

    Looks like a gold meteorite shower..wild color, to balance it out I'd remove the leaves in the top left but thats me....well done

    Nice image and application, Patrick.

    Like the effect and agree with the others.

    I might have cropped the left border a little to eliminate the leaves in the ULC, to have open sky as with the rest of the image, if it were mine. As is, I seek the rest of the leaf formation in that area. But very nice image.

    I agree with removing the leaves from the ULHC. I wanted to do that, just being lazy. Thanks for the input.

    Patrick, I'm loving your postings here and this one is no exception. The gold of the leaves against that dark blue sky is super. I would love to have that lens... :cool: Nice use of it to correct the perspective.
