    The Eastern Kingbird is a very calm beautiful bird, they let you get really close.

    This image was taken in South Carolina last spring..
    He was on last years corn stalk, I was on my tip toes......trying to get level with him.
    I tried the 1/3 rule comp but he was too small in frame, so I settled for this crop.

    Lovely on all counts. I can see why you were on your tip toes. I like the angled stalk, the sharpness, the BKGR, and the good EXP. A Linear Burn on the brightest spot of the perch right between the bird's legs would be a good plan.

    Sweet image. Like the background. Tried to get a couple of shots of one of these early in the summer but from the kayak the angle was to steep. TFS Gary.

    Maybe a touch tight for my taste Paul. Great pose and love the BG. The little hot spot at the top of the perch between the toes is a bit bothersome. Otherwise fine to me. :)

    Super pose Paul, with good exposure, detail and sharpness. Well done on fixing the bright spot on the perch.
