    Scott,

Excellent pose and very nice details. On my calibrated monitor I am seeing little bit dark. I played with levels and boosted mid tone brightness and added a bit of contrast. Hope you dont mind.
    Also, Like the composition.

I like Sids changes but I might leave the far BG dark if it were mine. Nice pose and I like the wispy grasses.

I think the buck looks better in Sid's repost but like the environment from the OP. The trees in the bg of the repost seem too bright to me.

    Great attentive pose Scott.
I like Sid's repost, looks like a slight magenta cast on my cal monitor, easily fixed of course.

I like this very much … a combo of the two images would work for me, keep the original darker background. I also really like the wispy grasses.

Unfortunately my monitor in UK is largely useless, so I will have another look tomorrow when I am back in SA.

Yep, combine both, Scotts environment, Sids buck, but with the cast (:D)

Like the repost. Shows a little more detail. Like the surrounding grasses as well.

Now I can seethis properly, I think the OP is a little dark and the repost much too light. Somewhere between the two would be ideal

Love the straight on look. I feel I would have like to see more room below for the virtual legs but this works OK too.

Color cast mentioned and I agree with brightening the deer but not the BG.
