In Mississippi we just call them sweet gum trees but in other places they are called Liquid Amber. Just a simple Topaz Clean and Adjust treatment and framed with layer styles.

Beautiful composition, Judy. I like the combination of dark and light colors of the leaves. It goes very well with the complementary bg color. Nice border. TFS.

Thanks Indranil. I didn't have time to do anything elaborate today and I liked the simplicity and colors as they were without adding more effects.

Judy, The colors are wonderful. I'm back and forth about the leaf at the top=it keeps drawing my eye-but I like the way it looks. I love the branches that look like shadows.:)

    Nice image and application, Judy.

I agree with the others on fhe leaf on top, but note that the portion in the frame is offset slightly which adds to the ????. I think if you could line it up it might make it more acceptable. But still a very nice image.

Thanks everyone. If I have time I'll see what I can do with the leaf.
